Mullis Eye Institute, just like everyone else in our community, was severely effected by Hurricane Michael. Some of our employees and providers have decided to leave the area. Due to this and with a heavy heart the owners of Mullis Eye Institute has had to lay off many members of its family. Each and everyone of our employees are a valued member of our work family and will be truly missed during this time of great difficulties. Mullis Eye Institute was forced to close our Marianna, Chipley, DeFuniak Springs, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach and Crestview offices due to these circumstances. Our surgery center is undergoing major repairs and will open again in the future. Our Panama City office is open and seeing patients with Dr. Julie Wolf, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

The Mullis Eye Institute has been a part of the Florida panhandle since 1976. Over the years, the physicians of the Mullis Eye Institute have been on a mission to bring eye care to those in need. The doctors and staff feel it is important to have a firm belief in an established set of core values. All of us at the Mullis Eye Institute try each day to live the following philosophy:
At our main office in Panama City, we have our own on-site surgery center. The Surgery Center at the Mullis Eye Institute opened in 1984. It is one of the very first in the state of Florida to offer State-Of-The-Art surgery in an out-patient (non-hospital) setting. The Surgery Center is State licensed, Medicare Certified, and nationally accredited. Upon request, our staff will be happy to provide you with a good faith estimate of benefits. This information is based solely on the information obtained from your insurance company. Our experienced, friendly staff will see you through each step of your visit, and you will be able to return home in just a few hours.
The Mullis Eye Institute Surgery Center is pleased to announce that we have been accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. Our status as an AAAHC accredited organization means we have passed a series of rigorous and nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care.
We have seven locations and three doctors, each with many years of experience, to fulfill all your eye care needs. Please call us for an appointment or any questions you may have.
The absolute reason I had it done was to get rid of my glasses. Now I've got 20/20 vision. I went down to the thing to get my prescription to take my driver's license even. All the people here were very friendly but yet they were very professional.
