Dr. Lee Mullis and the Mullis Eye Institute have been a part of the Florida panhandle since 1976. Over the years, Dr. Mullis and his associates have been on a mission to bring eye care to those in need. At our main office in Panama City, we have our own on-site surgery center. The Surgery Center at the Mullis Eye Institute opened in 1984. It is one of the very first in the state of Florida to offer State-Of-The-Art surgery in an out-patient (non-hospital) setting. The Surgery Center is State licensed, Medicare Certified, and nationally accredited. Our experienced, friendly staff will see you through each step our visit, and you will be able to return home in just a few hours.
The Mullis Eye Institute Surgery Center is pleased to announce that we have been accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care Our status as AAAHC accredited organization is means we have passed a series of rigorous and nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care.
